Hand-cast in Provence, these candles are made from 100% natural plant wax, an organic soy wax made in Europe and certified GMO-free. Soy wax is environmentally friendly because it is 100% vegetable and biodegradable. It does not release soot, unlike mineral waxes like paraffin, making it a very healthy candle for frequent use. To improve the beneficial effects of these candles, untreated cotton wicks that are pre-soaked in wax for better combustion, labeled oeko-tex are used.
