Caran d'Ache colour and writing products have been manufactured in their Geneva workshops since 1915. The 849 has been in production since 1969, with over 15m sales. It has a tough hexagonal aluminium barrel with the distinctive Caran d'Ache clip and push-button engraved with the Caran d'Ache logo. The 849 range is beautifully presented in a matching metal gift tin, with a 3D relief of the 849 pen, with details colour-matched to the pen, plus magnetic closure. Supplied with a medium blue refill.
