Originally designed in 1979, Christian Flensted’s Balloon 5 mobile is fast becoming a classic, adding an understated pop of vibrant colour to the considered palette of a child’s nursery. The colourful balloon panels sit on top of a small basket made out of lightweight wood. Inspired by the hot-air balloons of the 18th Century, and the modern incarnations of the craft today, the mobile comes complete with a plate enclosed in the box that shows famous balloons through the ages. The mobile comes flat-packed for convenience and can be easily opened out in seconds.
