Sterling silver oxidised earrings. Approx 1.5cm diameter. Handmade in Scotland. Grace Girvan was born and grew up in Orkney and so spent a lot of her childhood on the beach searching for pebbles, driftwood and shells. Now as an adult she uses this same process as a form of creative inspiration - collecting and studying objects found on the shoreline and using them to inform the colours, textures and compositions of her jewellery. Throughout her work pebbles are combined with silver and enamel to create beautiful, distinctive jewellery. She uses subtle, translucent enamels to depict the sun bleached colours that she observes on the shoreline. This independent boutique is located in the Orkney Islands, Scotland.
