Evening Flower Breakfast Set

The porcelain breakfast set is decorated with flowers and gold accents and is part of the Evening Flower collection by Heinen Delfts Blauw. The Avondbloem tableware is a minimalist porcelain tableware with a somewhat sturdy appearance. The thin porcelain is decorated with typical Delft blue decorations in black-gray tones and the tableware has some sharp lines, as can be seen on the handles of the mugs. Furthermore, there is no distraction from unnecessary decorations. The gray tones refer to the magical process that takes place during the making of Delft blue pottery. The master painters of Heinen Delfts Blauw normally paint porcelain with cobalt oxide. A color pigment that most resembles charcoal and which only gets its iconic Delft blue color after glazing and baking in the oven. For the Evening Flower collection we have chosen to use the color that the paint has before it is fired in the oven. The result is minimalist tableware with beautiful glod, black and gray decorations.
