Kay Bojesen's original Hippo was designed in 1955 and was used by Kay as a pencil holder. This new version is slightly larger and is painted with blackboard paint so that it can also be used to write messages. Made from beech and beautifully packaged Hippo would make a wonderful gift and would be at home in an office, on a bookshelf or in a child's room.
