The Kaivo blanket by Marimekko has a wave pattern in the 60s style and was designed by Maija Isola in 1964. The story of how Kaivo came about is as magical as it is simple: when Maija Isola lowered her bucket into a fountain one day, she was impressed by the elegance of the waves on the water - and the idea for Kaivo was born. The blanket is made, among other things, from recycled wool and cotton with fringes at the ends. With a size of 140 x 180 cm, it can be used as a throw on the bed or a cozy blanket on the sofa.
