Created for Danish design brand Menu by up-and-coming designer Theresa Arns, the Échasse Vase is a perfect example of her beautiful but functional creations which celebrate the quality of natural, traditional materials while exploring the possibilities of new, interesting concepts in design. The vase, though classic in shape and material, is effortlessly cool in smoked glass and sits atop slim, brass échasse - the French for “stilts” - which add an elegant and instantly up-to-date look. The design of the vase allows it to be freestanding, without the brass stand if preferred.
