We start with spring and end in winter. In each season Vaughan highlights particular ingredients, and the recipes follow those leads. In spring we have recipes around leeks, eggs and rhubarb, followed by courgettes and chicken in summer, beetroot in autumn and chocolate in winter. There are also sections for cakes, biscuits and bread as well as Christmas recipes. At the end of each season Vaughan also gives suggestions for menus for that particular season.
