Teak Root Juice Spoon

The juice spoon is made from recycled teak root. It measures approximately 19cm (total length) and 2.5cm in diameter. Teak root is considered waste and comes from certified teak plantations. It is a source of income for many people in rural communities in Indonesia. These recycled teak kitchen utensils are handmade and purchased ethically in a small village in East Java. Also, by adopting this little spoon, you support the livelihood of the inhabitants of this village. Wood is a living material that will evolve with you. It is not fragile but requires "regular" maintenance. To take care of your teak spoon, it is very important never to let it soak in water and not to use the dishwasher. Simply wash it with warm water and your soap and dry it immediately. Of course, wash your spoon before first use.
