Ystad-Metall produced a large number of classic design items from the 1920s – 1960s. Skultuna has secured the rights to reproduce this iconic candlestick. The Candlestick was designed for the world fair in New York 1939. Ivar Ålenius Björk worked as a sculptor and is mainly know for his bust portraits. His public ornaments can be seen in many Swedish towns. The Lily Candlestick is a elegant candlestick that draws it’s inspiration from a lily. The elegant curves and the minimalistic design makes it both timeless, elegant and the perfect example of great Scandinavian design. The Lily Candlestick can be used both as a candlestick but can also be used as a vase by adding the Vase for the Lily Candlestick that is sold separately. Care instructions: Over time silver will oxidize and get darker stains. Please use a polish cloth to polish the candlestick when needed. Do not move the candlestick when lit. Put out the candle by suffocating it. Only use candles from well-know producers and of high quality. Do not place on flammable or delicate surfaces. Do not place near flammable materials.
