The Big Bowl is a great wow statement piece from Sthal and is part of their wider Arabesque range of beautiful ceramics for your home. Excellent for those big parties, it is suitable for all kinds of things and is always well received. The beautiful pattern on the inside and outside of the bowl is characteristic of Sthål's Arabesque range with its subtle swirl patterns with an effect glaze that brings the surface to life with a range of colour variations. A shared love of ceramics led two Swedish designers Susanna Theander and Helena Åkesson-Liedberg (Sthal is a play on the two names) to quit their professions as graphic designers in 2010 and create their first ceramic range.. The Arabesque range is made in Portugal and is SGS tested meaning there are no toxins involved in its production. Every piece has soft subtle patterns with fluid effect glazes that add variety and layers of colour to the ceramic and each piece will be unique. The Arabesque range is dishwasher, oven and microwave safe. Designed to last a lifetime, all of the shapes and colours will complement each other…..perfect for collecting.
