Stool designed by Jasper Morrison for Vitra. He is a leading figure in the New Simplicity, a movement that advocated a modest and serious approach to design. Light and velvety to the touch, Cork stools are made from a solid but lightweight piece of pressed agglomerated cork. The design of this family of stools, which also work perfectly as side tables, are made with unsealed cork so that they develop a beautiful patina over time. Material: Turned solid cork, untreated surface. Measurements: height 33 x diameter 31 cm.
